Blogging can suck. But it’s also great. Just, right now I am talking about how it sucks.
I am not going to get into all the ways it can be lame, just one reason. And that is: Your post ideas popping up at the most unfortunate moments.
Yeah, I have read a time or two that whenever this happens, to just write the thought down for later. But that’s all good and all, when you’re not a school bus driver and all your great ideas pop in your head when driving your route. I can’t take a pen and paper and write it down. I got to focus on driving. I have a time limit to be at students stops.
And I mean, I think of some really good ideas (well, to me anyway). A lot of them. If I acted on them I would be having a hundred posts awaiting to be published. There is a lot to think about when you are driving!
But, of course, once I get home or have all the time in the world to write a post, I got nothing. Squat. Zilch. Definitely a motivation killer for my blog. I look at the paper and nothing is coming to my mind. The creative juices are definitely not flowing.
And forcing yourself to write something isn’t always a good thing, either. it doesn’t usually turn out to be good content.
This is a huge reason I get frustrated with blogging.
I’ll figure it out one day.
